Refund policy

Everything about your statutory right to cancel, returns, refunds, exchanges and how we handle defective goods or wrong deliveries at Bellanio. Last updated: 21 August 2026.

1. Right to cancel

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods. The period therefore starts with the delivery of the goods.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us (Justin Brodrecht, Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 15, 63500 Seligenstadt, Germany, email: info@bellanio.com) of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (for example an email). You may use our model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory. To meet the cancellation deadline it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

2. Effects of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold the reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

In practice, we refund within 5 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays) of receiving and inspecting your return (see section 6). You must send back the goods without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you inform us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

3. Returns step by step

Register your return: write a short email to info@bellanio.com with your order number and a clear statement that you want to cancel the purchase or return the goods. This statement is what exercises your right to cancel, so please always send it before the 14-day period ends. A return must always be registered with us first: please do not send goods back unannounced. You will receive the return address together with our confirmation by email.

Packaging: pack the goods securely, ideally in the original packaging. The goods should be returned unworn, unwashed and with all original tags attached.

Shipping: send the parcel to the return address provided in our confirmation email.

Keep proof: keep the drop-off receipt with the tracking number until the refund is complete. It serves as proof of your return.

Receive refund: after receiving and checking your return, we refund the purchase price within 5 business days to your original payment method.

4. Condition of returned goods

Please return the goods unworn, unwashed, with the original tags attached and, where possible, in the original packaging. Trying items on to check fit, characteristics and features, as is usual in a physical shop, is of course allowed and does not affect your right to cancel. If use goes beyond such checking and reduces the value of the goods, we reserve the right to claim compensation for the loss in value.

5. Costs of the return

Return because of a change of mind (cancellation): you bear the direct costs of the return. The amount depends on the carrier you choose.

Defective goods or wrong delivery: we cover the costs of the return. In that case please contact us first at info@bellanio.com so we can arrange the return for you.

6. Refund time and method

After receiving and inspecting your return, we issue the refund within 5 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). The refund goes to the payment method you used for the original purchase. Since shipping is free of charge within the United Kingdom, there are no delivery costs to reimburse on top. Depending on the payment provider it can take a few more days for the credit to appear on your account or card statement.

7. Exchange

An exchange for a different size or colour is possible within 14 days of delivery. Email us at info@bellanio.com with your order number and the size or colour you would like instead.

We reserve the replacement straight away and send it out as soon as you have registered the exchange, so you do not have to wait for your return to reach us. Send the item that did not fit back to us afterwards, using the return address from our confirmation email.

The exchange is free of charge for you: we cover both the return costs of the original item and the delivery of the replacement. If the size or colour you want is no longer available, we will tell you and refund you instead.

8. Order changes and cancellation before dispatch

Changes to your order or a cancellation before dispatch are possible until the parcel has been handed to the carrier. Contact us as soon as possible at info@bellanio.com with your order number. Once the parcel is with the carrier, please use your right to cancel as described in section 1 instead.

9. Defective goods or wrong delivery

Should an item arrive defective, or should you have received a wrong delivery, please contact us promptly at info@bellanio.com, ideally with your order number and a photo of the item. In this case we cover the return costs and arrange a replacement or a refund. Your statutory rights remain unaffected by these returns terms.

10. Statutory rights

Your statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods and your cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, apply without restriction. The statutory right to cancel and your statutory rights for defective goods are neither limited nor excluded by these returns terms.
